The Benefits of Loyalty Rewards Programs

The online casino business is one that is very competitive. There is no denying that customers like to jump from casino to casino, taking advantage of bonus offers, and then they move on. That practice has been reduced somewhat over the years, but it still exists. With so many casinos out there, loyalty is something that carries with it a very high value. And because of that, the online casino is ready to reward such customers.

If you fly very often on any particular airline, you can gather frequent flyer points, which can be applied to free air travel somewhere down the line. Of course, air flights are chosen by consumers based on a number of reasons that may not include brand loyalty. The identification with one particular destination is stronger in the casino business, where people find a comfort level and a satisfaction with both the quality of the games and the customer service.

Like a frequent flyer plan, casinos have a program that pays the player back for his or her loyalty. It can be referred to as a "VIP Club," a "Rewards Program" or a "Loyalty Program," but by any name, it is designed to accomplish the same objective - make it worth a player's while to stick around.

You get enrolled in most of these programs immediately upon signing up with a casino, so that right from the start, you begin to gather "points" that are credited to your loyalty program account. The points differ according to which games you are playing; slot games will carry a different value than table games, for example. But the bottom line is that the more you play, the more points you're going to accumulate.

A common formula is to apply a certain number of points to a dollar's worth of value in your real money account. Perhaps ten "comp points" would be equal to a dollar, Euro or pound in your account. And some of these programs have various "levels" you can shoot for, with more "perks" at each level. For instance, there could be a Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum level to a VIP program, and you might pick up extra comp points, supplemental deposit bonuses, personal account managers, merchandise prizes and more. When you get to the highest levels, the benefits are tremendous. Loyalty certainly counts!
