New Gambling Hotspot in the Make

Wondering about the next big thing with online casino and gambling? Chanel your attention to Atlantic City because is under development to become one of the world’s online casino and gambling hotspots!

Senator Ray Lesniak, the state legislator of New Jersey, has introduced new legislations that will allow Atlantic City to become an online casino and gambling hotspot. Senator Ray Lesniak has been the reason behind the drive for attracting the online casino and gambling industry into the state of New Jersey. The legislation that he had put forward will now allow online casino and gambling companies to operate from New Jersey yet offering a wide spectrum of games and online casino services for players from other nations. Nevertheless, these companies are subjected to the license, laws and procedures that guides the New Jersey online casino and gambling industry.

Currently, online casino and gambling operators in New Jersey are required to work hand in hand with Atlantic City properties to offer games and services to residents of New Jersey. Therefore, under Lesniak’s proposal, foreign companies who are interested can seek their license through the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement and also will have to comply with the standards just like other operators that are located in New Jersey. Although not specifically tied to locate in Atlantic City, they have to be within the state of New Jersey. The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement is established to ensure the integrity of the casino gaming industry in the State of New Jersey. Its mission is to protect the public interest by maintaining a legitimate and viable industry, free from the influences of organized crime, and assuring the honesty, good character and integrity of casino owners, operators, employees and vendor.

According to Lesniak, because this proposal was spurred by online casino and gambling companies, he is assured that foreign companies will be interested in relocating into New Jersey. He said, “The Atlantic City casino industry is well-regulated and highly respected, which gives us an advantage. We can capitalize on our strengths and attract business to build and invest in our state. We shouldn’t allow these opportunities to migrate overseas to other countries.

Furthermore, according to Adam Ozimek, a researcher with Philadelphia-based Econsult Solutions, it is estimated the legislation passed for the state would bring to New Jersey could be worth between $5 billion and $8 billion in annual revenue with online casino and gambling!
