Some Video Slots Releasing in 2019

Players at online casinos can expect three fantastic video slots in 2019. The dates are not out, but the wait will be worth its while. Two are sequels to existing slots from Microgaming and the third is a branded slot game from NetEnt.

Agent Jane Blonde Returns will bring back the female super spy. This slot game was announced in July 2018, so it should not be long before it goes live. The sequel is being developed by Stormcraft Studios, one of the independent studios operating for Microgaming. Players will recall that Stormcraft has delivered a fantastic product in Fortunium. Agent Jane Blonde Returns will have the standard five reels and three rows with 15 paylines. The visuals have been inspired by neon and retro waves and will be a highlight of the new slot. Players will also get the advantage through stacked wilds and respins. David Reynolds, Games Publisher at Microgaming, said that the sequel will take players back into Agent Jane Blonde’s world of intrigue and espionage.

To mark the 15th anniversary of the first Lara Croft branded slot, Microgaming has announced its third title featuring the fearless explorer. Tomb Raider released in 2004 was the first title and in 2008 Secret of the Sword went live. The new video slot is being developed by Triple Edge Studios, another independent studio that has provided innovative, high-quality content exclusively for Microgaming. The brand is based on the Lara Croft video games that have amassed lifetime sales of over 67 million units. It is not yet known what quest the players will be taken on by Lara Croft. Perhaps these answers, along with the game’s official title, will be made public at ICE Totally Gaming 2019 in February.

In November 2018 NetEnt announced a branded slot featuring the legendary jockey Peter Scudamore. It will be the first sports branded slot from NetEnt. Scudamore is eight-time Champion Jockey and now the sport’s well-respected expert. The video slot will utilise Scudamore’s image rights, voice and actual racing content in the slot game’s gaming features like free spins. The untitled slot game will be released during the 2018/19 National Hunt season ahead of the key events like the Cheltenham Festival and Grand National at Aintree. Bryan Upton, Director of Game Products at NetEnt, said that slots players and racing fans would be thrilled with the results when the game was launched. All would experience NetEnt’s commitment to innovation.
