Microgaming Level Up Video Poker Is Challenging

If you want more challenge in your online video poker games then try variants from Microgaming’s Level Up series. The variants include Aces & Faces, Deuces Wild, Double Poker, Jacks or Better and Joker Poker. The rules and payout tables of each variant is the same as in the regular games. However, Level Up video poker is played over four hands. You move to the higher level only if you win at the lower level. Level Up video poker games are live at all Microgaming online casinos like All Slots, Platinum Play, Jackpot City and Spin Palace.

Four times the amount wagered per hand is taken from your balance to cover each of the four levels. If you lose in the first level then you forfeit the total wager without even playing the hands at higher levels. You will be dealt five cards face up in the first level and five cards face down in the other levels. Each level uses an independent standard deck of cards.

You start by deciding which cards to hold at level one. The remaining cards are replaced in the usual manner. If you then draw a winning combination you will be paid as per the payout table. You then move to the second level where the dealt hand is exposed. If you draw a winning combination at this level you will be paid at twice the rate given in the payout table. Winning in the third level fetches a payout of four times and winning in the fourth level fetches a payout of eight times.

If you lose at any of the levels, you cannot proceed to higher levels, but can retain the amounts won till then. You have the option to wager your total winnings in a double or nothing gamble game. This is the standard gamble game from the regular Microgaming online video poker variants. If you opt for the gamble game and lose then the amount staked is forfeited.

Level Up video poker has two features that you will find helpful. A Free Ride Card can randomly appear next to a dealt hand. This will allow you to move to the next level even if you lose that hand. The second feature is the Auto Complete. It is possible that you are dealt a natural royal flush at a higher level, but fail to reach that level. In that event the Auto Complete feature reveals the natural royal flush and awards a compensatory payout.
